This little swing jacket pattern is my pride and joy! My first design had inset sleeves, but I wanted it to last longer and fit several ages. So I restructured my original pattern from the inset sleeve to a raglan sleeve. It worked! Now it’s a little coat for your 18 month old by just rolling up the sleeves. Then as she gets older, simply roll down the sleeves and it is now a jacket for your 3 to 4 year old. Lots of little kitties in black and white, with yellow daisies are scattered over a light turquoise blue background. This fabric is a 100% cotton linen. It is not lined, which makes it a little cooler to wear, but finished inside because all the seams are professionally machine serged. Another feature is the inverted pleat in the back which gives it an expensive designer look. The neck band, both front pockets, and sleeve bands are sewn in a sweet calico contracting fabric. One big button closes the top.
Care Instructions: Either machine wash on perma press, warm water, or hand wash. Just put on a little hanger and line dry for a wrinkle free look.
