Hand Dyed Tussah Silk Bandanna

I hand dyed this tussah silk bandanna using permanent procion dyes. These fiber reactive dyes actually bond to the fibers and yield excellent colorfastness.
I serged all edges using Egyptian cotton thread which takes the dyes so beautifully and makes the hems a beautiful embellishment. Japanese Shibori dye methods create the wavy design.

This is so versatile and can even be work as a face mask! Fun and practical!

42" on longest edge

hand wash, machine dry (or machine wash and dry if you have a good gentle cycle)
One of a kind.
