This is a solid, precious, smoky Ethiopian Opal with flashy peacock blue and emerald green play of color. The Opal is surrounded with gorgeous purple-blue Tanzanite beads.

The Specifics:
The pendant is Ethiopian Opal.
The gem beads are Tanzanite, all the green beads are Emeralds, all the shaded blue beads are Sapphire, and Opal beads.
The tiny seed beads are both Japanese and Czech glass in a variety of sizes.
The lobster clasp, and chain and crimp beads are the only metal on this piece, and they are 14K Gold filled, (but if you prefer Sterling Silver, message me).

Measurements:
The pendant, including the beaded bail, is 1 1/8 inches long.
The entire lacy beaded centerpiece is 2 3/8 inches wide.
The necklace length is your choice: just choose what length you'd like, anywhere up to 24 inches at no extra cost, plus I add a 1.5 inch extender chain on each piece.

Shipping:
Your new necklace comes packaged in a pretty, sturdy cardboard gift box, with cotton padding.
I will ship your new necklace First Class, via USPS, for free
with insurance and tracking.

How it's made:
The setting is made of tiny glass seed beads, which are hand stitched, one bead to the next, with a fine beading needle, using a heavy-duty 6 lb test, spun, braided, nylon beading thread. There are multiple plies of this thread in every bead! I start making a netting to form the back side of the bezel, and then, while holding the stone in place, I sew one bead at a time around the perimeter of the cabochon, slowly building the beaded bezel, to fit each unique gemstone, until it is encased. My beadwork is NOT attached to the stone, just surrounding it and well-fitted to it.
The straps are strung on cable, which is made of 49 strands of stainless steel microwire, coated with nylon to protect it from abrasion, rated at a minimum of 10 lb test strength.

Notes:
When you look at these, bear in mind, I am NOT a photographer. I guarantee this is prettier in person! I took these photos in natural daylight and do my best to accurately portray the colors as they look in real life.
